2021
The first edition of Eat Drink Play - an innovative food and arts festival organised by Hospitality NZ - took place across the Wellington region throughout May 2021. No mere food festival, this was a city-wide celebration highlighting the region’s best hospitality, arts, music and culture.
We collaborated closely with the team at Hospitality NZ to develop a holistic brand and to help shape the identity of the festival. Our playful and buoyant visuals were purposefully designed to match the vibrancy of Wellington’s nightlife. We delivered a full scope of brand collateral, including website design, logos, brand guidelines, social media assets and individual event posters with bespoke illustrations.
After a lethargic 2020, Eat Drink Play set out to reinvigorate Wellington’s world-renowned hospitality industry. As such, we were tasked with creating an engaging and celebratory suite of assets that would encourage people to get out and support their local community. For ten days and nights the region came alive with over 150 institutions uniting to serve up the best of Wellington.
