Stronger than me

UNICEF NZ

2015

For the 2015 Rugby World Cup we were asked by UNICEF to enable their recent arrangement with the All Blacks as their international sponsorship partner. The challenge was to create a cohesive 30 second spot that could be played internationally with a message that could transcend borders.

We took the inherent battle-hardened qualities of the All Blacks and juxtaposed these against the real life hardships of children in war zones, refugee camps, or disasters. For every hit Sonny Bill Williams takes on the field there are thousands of children globally that are hit harder by tragedies that are beyond their control.

On a tight budget and short timeframe our production team had to co-ordinate a technically complicated shoot into the two hour window allotted to All Black promotional appearances with some great results.
